M4 junction 29: Take the A48M/A48 signed Cardiff. Exit the A48 signed Cardiff East/Docks. Stay in the left-hand lane and follow signs for City A4161 to the roundabout. Take second exit at this roundabout onto Newport Road. Follow signs for City A4161 by continuing on this road. On the left you will see the Macdonald Holland House Hotel, then turn immediately left at the next set of traffic lights onto Fitzalan Place. At second set of traffic lights drive straight on to Windsor Road. At roundabout take third exit and filter into left-hand lane. At roundabout take first exit, then go immediately left (signposted for vw dealership). Follow road around to left and the Lodge by Macdonald is situated on your right.
From West:
M4 junction 33: Take the A4232 towards Cardiff Bay. Pass through the Queens Gate Tunnel. On exiting the tunnel take the first left at the large roundabout, then right at the next smaller roundabout - Central Link A4232 towards City Centre. Take first slip-road off and at roundabout take the fourth exit as if rejoining A4232, then immediately left (signposted for VW dealership). Follow road around to left and The Lodge by Macdonald is situated on your right.
