Hamilton Rd, Felixstowe, Suffolk, England, IP11 7DX, UK

Originally dating back to 1898, the Hotel Elizabeth Orwell is a traditional, old-fashioned hotel, which underwent a major refurbishment during the autumn of 2003. The property was initially built for Lord Tollemarch. Today, the spacious public areas are wood-panelled and traditionally decorated with a wealth of charm and elegance. There are 58 en suite rooms, all of which are tastefully furnished.

A full English Breakfast is included in the price. Westerfield’s Restaurant has an elegant atmosphere and offers both a table d’hôte and an à la carte menu.

Felixstowe is an Edwardian resort and, like the hotel itself, it still retains much of its original charm. The town features beautiful south-facing gardens, many attractions, safe beaches and a paved promenade. The hotel is just a mile (1.6 km) from the town’s port.

Close to the town centre and just metres from Felixstowe Railway Station, this impressive Victorian hotel is rich in original charm and traditional character, with free parking for guests.

The hotel has 60 rooms on 2 floors.
