CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations must be cancelled 3 days in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged.
The cancellation policy may vary per room type; please check the room description as well.
COMMENTS: A credit card number is required to guarantee the reservation - the credit card will be charged with the total booking value three days prior to the arrival date. Any extras incurred, breakfast for example, will be payable in full on departure. If you intend to pay by cash, please notify us in advance. The first night's accommodation must be guaranteed via payment made from the credit card used to guarantee the reservation. A 3% charge is applied to all credit card transactions. All major credit cards are accepted and we welcome tourists and commercial visitors throughout the year. Special rates for coach parties and group bookings are available on request. We regret that we are unable to cater for single sex parties in excess of 6 people.

For the single traveller to the family on holiday, most rooms are en-suite with colour television and hospitality tray, some with sea views across the Solent. The hotel has a residential licence to help you wind down in the evening. A fine breakfast at a cost of 4.00 per person per day is served in the attractively appointed dining room to help start the day. The Dorset has an outdoor swimming pool in operation from May to September. Ryde offers a range of restaurants, public houses, nightclubs and other entertainment suitable for the young and old. We welcome children over the age of three, but we cannot cater for children under this age. The minimum age for children occupying single rooms is 14. Large free car park at the rear of the hotel and parking for four cars at the front of the hotel. Centrally located hotel, 300 yards from Seafront Esplanade, 3 minutes walk from hovercraft, bus and railway station. Ideal base for touring the island.

Directions/Transport
By road: Follow the road signs to Ryde, from any entry port and you will arrive on Ryde Seafront. Proceed along the front and at the roundabout, in front of la Bowl, turn right, up the hill, and we are on the crossroad. By public transport: From Ryde, travelling via public transport is not necessary. Taxi will cost approximately 2.80 from the end of the pier.
