Hotel Policies
CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations must be cancelled 31 days in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged.
The cancellation policy may vary per room type; please check the room description as well.
COMMENTS: Booking conditions: a deposit of the full amount is required which is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Should you wish to cancel your booking with us, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can relet the room on the same terms. If we are successful, you will receive a full refund. If we are unable to relet the room, you will be charged the full room rate.
NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED AT THE LODGE.

Just a short walk down Longtail Hill you will find the lake and the marina where there are lovely views and a bistro bar. There are also several excellent restaurants within five minutes walk from the Lodge. A few minutes more will take you to Bowness Bay where you can take a cruise or hire a selection of small boats. In Bowness village there are many restaurants, shops, public houses, a cinema, a theatre and other attractions.
An all-weather leisure environment, Parklands Country Club has something for everyone. The club incorporates a swimming pool with children's area, spa bath, sauna, steam room and jet showers. There is a badminton court, squash court and gymnasium. On the first floor is a comprehensive club lounge and bar, two full size snooker tables, solarium and viewing galleries overlooking the badminton and squash courts and the swimming pool. A selection of unique themed suites of the highest quality. The lodge has an outdoor heated swimming pool. This location is ideal for visiting the many famous attractions of the Lake District.

Directions/Transport
From the M6 motorway North or South
Leave the M6 at junction 36, travel along the A590 by passing Kendal, turn off the A591 at Windermere (Tourist Information Centre on your left). Travel down through Windermere village on the 1 way system to New Road in the direction of Bowness, drive through the village and follow the road left towards Bowness Bay. Drive past the steamers and jetties following the road until it branches for Kendal, you are now on Longtail Hill, about two thirds the way up Ahproditie’s is on the left.
Keys must be collected from our main hotel, 21 The Lakes, Lake Road Windermere, if arriving after 5pm.
From North or South:
Leave the m6 at junction 36 and follow the a591 towards Windermere. Take a left opposite the Windermere hotel, signposted for the town centre. Follow the one-way system through the town heading down the hill towards Bowness for approximately half a mile. 21 The Lakes is situated on the left hand side about 20 yards before a zebra crossing.
Check-in at our reception, and we will give keys to your suite together with a directional map of how to get to Aphrodites Lodge.
